Dial Seed Sower
Dial Seed Sower is a handy tool that works by controlling the flow of different sized seeds with six settings on the dial. With a simple tapping of the finger, the seeds vibrate down the graduated channel and can be accurately placed in a row or seed flat.
Jiffy Pots
Jiffy Pots come in either 4" round or 3.5" square pots. Pots are made completely of compressed peat moss. They are another convenient way to start any type of seedling.
Jiffy 7 Peat Pellets
Jiffy 7 Peat Pellets have a new larger size (42mm). Add water and watch them grow! Each compressed pellet has a slight dimple in the center for placing the seed after the pellet has been expanded with water. Jiffy 7's are a convenient way to start seedlings. They contain a small amount of commercial fertilizer mixed with the peat.
Seed Starting Pro Trays
Pro Tray Inserts are plastic inserts that fit into the base tray we sell, or can be used as a stand alone tray in the greenhouse. The 20-row seed flat has 20 narrow troughs that run across the width of the tray and allows for extremely efficient use of space to start crops like onions.
Pro Insert Trays are the trays that hold the 50, 98, 128, and 162-cell trays above.
Seed Tray Heaters
Agritape System from Ken-Bar is made up of an aluminum mesh screen to protect against abrasion, this safely grounded agritape helps to evenly distribute heat due to it's unique pattern. The styrofoam insulation beneath the agritape increases efficiency and reduces operational costs As a plug-in unit, an electrical current, flows through the black bars the tape which are resistive/conductive material. Spaced closely together, these bars emit a virtually continuous heat patter, providing stable, predictable temperatures. The Seed tray heater have a maximum temperature range of 72-75 degrees.
Seed Starting Soil Mix
This Seed Starting Mix has been professionally formuated to provide excellent seed germination and growth for young seedings. A weight and color change in this media from dark brown to light brown tells you when to water.
